Reward for Best Female Cadet
After a long trip to RAF Shawbury in Shropshire she learned she was to have the opportunity to fly in one of the RAF’s Griffin Helicopters.
Freya was shown around the helicopter Squadron and aircraft and got a good understanding of life in the RAF. She was then treated to a flight in the Griffin that lasted 47 minutes and consisted of Confined landings and some sight seeing.
Following the flight, Frya and Flight Sergeant Tye (who organised the trip) were able to “fly” in the life like simulator sampling the controls for themselves. Freya won the landing competition!
Well done Freya well, deserved, hope you enjoyed the day
